I like my friends.

This week we are continuing our welcome to preschool theme but focusing more on our friends than the rules, where everything in the class is, etc. Today we talked about what we have played with our friends, what our friends names are, and something we like about each of our friends. :)

For art we made the first letter of our name using stickers!! It was a big hit with the kids because most of my friends chose to use our smelly stickers. :)

Complete first week of school..CHECK! 

It has been a fantastic first week of preschool!! We have had a few tears here and there, big adjustments, a lot of questioning when naptime is, new learning experiences, 5 minute dance parties, numerous potty breaks, fun circle times, new art activities, and new memories with some great new friends!!

For art today each friend decorated that first letter of their name. When they came up to the table they would tell me what the letter was and whose name started with that letter.
