Fe Fi Fo Fum!!

Today we read the book Jack and the Beanstalk. The kids loved it because they were able to yell fe fi fo fum with me. We also had the Ipad today and each child had the chance to watch a five minute fairy tale. They each had a partner, and each group chose a different fairy tale. The three they walked were three billy goats gruff, little red riding hood, and the three little pig. They absolutely loved it!

Dragons!

Today we continued our fairy tale theme by making dragons! It was a HUGE mess but the kids really enjoyed it! With this only being the second day, I can tell this is a theme that this class really enjoys. They talk about the fairy tales throughout the morning that we read or they already know!

Cinderella.

This week we are learning about Fairy Tales! The kids new a few but not a whole lot of different ones. Today we read Cinderella and made our own glass slipper! After we did art and played at centers for a few minutes we went to the big room for our cooking activity. We made banana sandwiches! The kids loved them!! We also welcomed a new friend into the classroom. Her name is Pink Pizza and she is one of Santa's elves! The kids are so excited to have her in the room!
