Community Helpers!

It has been a crazy day with a classroom full of energy! Today we start our week of learning about community helpers. When I asked the kids who they thought community helpers were the instantly named off police officer, teacher, and firefighter. Today we talked about police officers and what they do for the community. The biggest answer form the kids were that they protect us from the bad guys. We colored police officers for art today. After finishing art we made chocolate chip cookies! The kids loved it! I didn't get many pictures though. We have a fun week planned with visitors and a field trip! I hope everyone has a great night!
