The Giving Tree

This week we are talking about manners. We read The Giving Tree and I paired up the kids to do our art activity. Each child chose their own color of tree to use and gave their partner two pieces of their tree, and the partner gave back two pieces from their tree. The kids then built their trees using their own color and the color from their friend. They kept telling me how nice their friends were to share. :)
