Yesterday we continued talking about the reason for the season, adding a little more detail to the story of baby Jesus that we started yesterday. We talked about how Mary had to go to Bethlehem, where baby Jesus was born in a manger. For art we made the angel and baby Jesus.
Today we finished our story of the birth of Jesus! The kids have done a great job remembering and today even told me that we celebrate Christmas for Jesus!!! I absolutely love when they catch onto the themes so well but I told them today my heart was super happy about how well they were doing with our reason for the season theme. For art today we made the sheep and shepherd.
