Apples Apples Apples!!

Today we did out first cooking exercise! The kids seemed to really enjoy both making and eating the apple tortillas. We had them spread a cream cheese/cinnamon/sugar frosting onto a tortilla shell and then put cut up pieces of apples on it and roll it up. We had one friend eat three wraps!

For art today we painted apples using apples! The kids really like this, they thought it was so cool they got to paint with apples. :) We were going to stamp with them and see if we could see the star in the center but it was unsuccessful so I just told them to paint like a paintbrush or just stamp it all over the paper. 

Since it was such a busy morning we only had three centers out but the kids didn't seem to mind.

It was another great Thursday in the the Dancing Dolphins Room!! :)
